Tagging the Bees

Her mother’s secret first love — a hermit’s terror — gangster’s loot. Can Jamie learn the connection between the three before the past comes back to kill her?

Beehives: A Suspense Novel  is available everywhere!! Yeah. This is a heavy ‘promotion’ month as everyone is out there asking people to buy their stuff. I am no different. As a ‘new’ writer of the mystery genre, I’m struggling to become known. If you are reading this, you already know about me and hopefully you like what I’ve been writing. I’m glad.

Beehives is my third mystery in the Family Secret Series. This one finds our heroine, Jamie, back in Oklahoma. Mystery and murder are following her once again, and once again, she can’t resist getting involved. But this time her life isn’t the only one on the line. Remember Sam?

I can’t wait for you to read this story and to tell me what you think!

But now I’m asking you to do something for me, something mega-important. Can you tell someone else about my books? Suggest that they read them – or better yet – buy them to give for Christmas, birthday, or ‘anytime’ presents?

I know – this is a blatant request. And I apologize. If you know me, you know I’m NOT writing to get rich. I love coming up with stories and writing them down. I always will.  Most everyone who reads my books and likes mysteries with a strong heroine and a touch of history seems to like them. But the truth is, I’m discouraged. I need readers/buyers/supporters.

If you can help me with promotion, please do. Let your friends, relatives and coworkers know about my books! And my blog! And my Facebook page (Mary Coley, Author).  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And that’s all I’ll say about that. *I love that line from Forest Gump.*

Next week, I’ll be interviewing a writer friends of mine, Peggy Chambers – a good writer with eclectic abilities. Check back! (And happy holiday giving!)
